Why do we need change
at PV Schools?
ACCOUNTABILITY
- Declining Enrollment
PV Schools has lost over 4,000 students since 2018.

- Declining Test Scores
2021 PVUSD AzM2 assessment results show just 46% proficient in English Language Arts and 39% proficient in Mathematics, down from the 2019 assessment results.
- Need Term Limits
One board member has been sitting on the Governing Board since 2004. If elected, I will not seek to serve more than 2 consecutive terms (8 years).

FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY
- Unused and Underutilized Properties
The district has unused and underutilized properties, some of which they received multi-million dollar offers on, that they failed to pursue.

- $1 / Year Leases
The district has signed sweetheart $1/year leases for some properties. I would vote to end these sweetheart deals.
- Super Severance
The PV Governing Board hired and gave a $400k severance package to failed Superintendent Welsh.
